This update makes it safe to retire old classes and courses, makes it easier for organisations still completing their ASQA registration to setup RTOPilot, and brings your compliance reporting together in one place.

What's new

Archive classes and courses
Classes and courses can now be archived — hiding them from your lists, calendar, course listings and new enrolments while preserving every invoice, payment, certificate and record. When something can't be deleted because payment, certificate or booking history is attached, the delete option now explains why and offers archiving instead, and a "Show archived" toggle on the Courses page brings archived courses back into view. Classes without any of that history can now be deleted cleanly even when they have past enrolments, which previously blocked deletion entirely.

Get set up while you're still becoming an RTO
Organisations partway through ASQA registration can now sign up as "Registering to become an RTO" and build their whole delivery operation — including nationally recognised (VET) units and courses — before registration is granted. Once the RTO code arrives, adding it in settings unlocks USI verification, AVETMISS reporting, certificates and VET enrolments in one step; until then, public enrolment pages show VET courses as not yet open for enrolment.

Skip the LLND assessment per class
A class can now be set to skip the LLND assessment, so every enrolment for that class skips the step by default — and administrators can still opt an individual student back in when enrolling them.

Bug fixes

• Resolved an issue that could stop SCORM course content loading in the online learning portal.

• AVETMISS imports now reject a NAT file containing an impossible date of birth instead of silently converting it to a wrong date on the student's record.

• Confirmation emails for bulk enrolments are now sent as a single batch, resolving delivery failures that could occur when enrolling many students at once.

• Logging out now fully invalidates the session behind the scenes, so a logged-out session can no longer be quietly renewed.

• Reporting has been renamed ‘Compliance’ and will be the new home for upcoming Compliance-focused features.
